7 Powerful Reasons Sundarakandam Brings Peace, Strength, and Inner Comfort

In this article, I want to share a personal experience — something that unfolded quietly over time and changed the way I look at faith.

I was blessed with a child with special needs, and he is now in God’s care. That time was very emotional, and it slowly changed the way I began to see and understand life.

🌿 A Moment I Didn’t Understand Then

Long back, during a visit to a temple with our family, something stayed with me — though I didn’t realise its meaning at that time.

The priest observed our child for a few seconds, then turned towards me and said gently,
“You should start worshipping Hanuman… things may get better.”

I remember listening, nodding… and then moving on.

I didn’t question it, and I didn’t follow it either. Life continued as usual, and that moment quietly faded into the background.

🌿 A Phase That Felt Heavy

Around the same time, we were planning for a second baby.

But things didn’t go as we expected.

There were multiple miscarriages, and it became a very difficult phase for me. Days felt uncertain, and emotionally it was not easy to stay positive all the time.

During this period, something else began to happen.

🌿 The Same Message, Again

Whenever I was feeling low, I would come across something very specific.

A video… a suggestion… a line that said:
“Listen to or read Sundarakandam during difficult times.”

At first, I simply scrolled past without thinking much about it.

But it didn’t stop.

It continued to appear at different moments — almost as if it was gently trying to get my attention.

Still, I didn’t act on it.

Time passed quietly.

🌼 A Gentle Shift

Then, by God’s grace, I became pregnant again.

This time, something inside me felt slightly different.

It wasn’t a big decision or a strong commitment. It was just a simple step.

Whenever I felt worried or unsettled about my pregnancy, I started playing Sundarakandam song at home.

Most of the time, I wasn’t actively listening. It would just play softly in the background while I went about my day.

There was no pressure to do it perfectly.
It slowly became a quiet part of my daily life.

💛 After My Baby Was Born

Then our second baby girl was born.

After her birth, I continued this practice.

“The songs continued playing at home throughout the day, and gradually, I also began reading Sundarakandam.”

Even if it was just for a few minutes a day, I could feel a subtle change within me — a little more calm, a little more strength, and a sense of peace I hadn’t noticed before.

When I look back now, I see it differently.

A suggestion at a temple that I once overlooked.
A message that kept appearing over time.
A simple step that I eventually took without much expectation.

What once felt ordinary now feels meaningful.

This is just my personal experience.

For me, this simple practice of listening to and reading Sundarakandam brought a quiet sense of comfort and strength. Of course, every journey is different, and experiences may vary from person to person.

Sometimes, certain things enter our lives gently — without urgency — and only later do we begin to understand their place.
